Joe and Simon chose the virtually difficult way up the mountain for their ascension. Nevertheless, they reached the meridian without any problems. For their descent, however, they decided to take an easier path.| iii | | Joe slipped and broke his leg in three unlike places. In astringent pain, he was completely bedridden, unable to proceed. Both climbers knew what this meant. | 4 | |So, against all odds, Simon decided to try to get his injured friend down to safety using a rope. He began lowering his friend down the mountain...one hundred incredibly painful metres at a time.
At showtime, things went well. But so, after 1 particular drop, Simon got no sound or signal dorsum from Joe. Without knowing information technology, in the pitch blackness of the nighttime, Simon had lowered his friend over the edge of a deep crevasse . Hanging over the cliff, Joe'southward fingers were so frostbitten that he was unable to climb support the rope. | v | |

Joe's groovy courage and extraordinary decision saved him.
